Our wings are not tired.

If you post it I will vote. No problem here with the ballot.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I prefer the amendment offered by Nutty because it offers an alternative to 6 months. But Cindy's proposal in #492 is also fine with me.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Yes.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm fine either way. As a point of interest, though, what I've read tells me that there are some people opposed to PV on its merits, and at least an equal number in favor. So I'm not sure why the default seems to be dropping it. I thought trying it once would be a worthwhile experiment, but I'm coming around to the view that we need to make a formal decision to do so or not, because I don't see a solution that doesn't l;eave some people feeling abused.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Yes to Cindy's ballot. Yay for Cindy, who puts the "Oh, me!" in foamy.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

As the original proposer and someone who is going to be offline for quite awhile today, I like what either Cindy orJesse or Nutty have to say W/R/T new proposal.

And strangely, even though I was the proposer, I am unemotional about this and not feeling like everyone is picking on me-- so I am happy!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Sure thing. Cindy's thing's fine.

Jon, I had stated my reasons before. My reasons haven't changed.

Please don't assume that you need to ask me every time why I dislike it, because I've already stated my reasons for not wanting it. I not like someone being at a party saying they're against it, it's more like knowing someone dislikes, say, monkeys. Explained once that monkeys ate her villiage, and that no, bringing in a monkey just this once is not okay, because there's a fear that once you allow one monkey, a whole slew of monkeys will come in, and there's a serious fear of monkey overrun.

You can keep asking about the monkey, but you'll get the same response.

Up with the sun

So I'm not sure why the default seems to be dropping it.

Because if an act will offend people, it's better not to do it. It's like playing the radio at work -- you may personally love it, but if your cube mates can't think, out it goes. It's not terribly fair, but it does seem to be conventional.
