Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But Cindy, we'll be able to revisit it in six months, if you want to.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

I don't like eyeball-bleeding. I'm gonna take a stand and say it's not good.

Our wings are not tired.

So before midnight we decide on the method of voting on a choice of 6,4 or 3 months. I suppose I can suck and skim for empassioned arguments for each time period and the method of deciding same. I don't really have to read almost 1200 messages to get the major points, right?

How about we decide each time we have a vote how long before we discuss it again? BWAHAHAHAHA

Sixists, Threeps and Fourmongers. Why can't we all get along?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I still don't see anyone really against doing an instant runoff (i.e. prfffmmmmng), so I went ahead and coded up a ballot. It's a dummy ballot. The "Send" button won't work until midnight. Comments on content?

Yeah, maybe put at the bottom a feedback question. Did you understand this ballot yes/no/don't care?

Yes/No isn't very useful. If folks have questions, they can ask about it here or in Bureaucracy.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Looks good to me.

It's the talking about it we're trying to avoid. I thought maybe an informal survey of how many people the PV really squicks might be a good idea and very easy to do.

In fact, why not put an informal survey rider on other ballots too. How many Buffistas are lefties/righties? How many Buffistas eat rice with a spoon/fork? Etc. It could make this process a little more fun.

In other words, I think it's fine.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

It is lovely Jon.

I suppose that I am the one staying up and posting the link?
