What? She killed 'em with mathematics. What else could it have been?

Thrive to spite them

Yay eggs !

My fave pharmacy tech had her last day today. She's moving to Michigan Monday to be closer to her family..

So Michigan is getting several cool people..

I'm exhausted. The store was out of : all forms of canned pineapple, Pepperidge farm stuffing, turkeys, ground sage or whatever isn't rubbed sage and only a few bottles of nutmeg. But this is better than last year when we ended up with a pallet of Pepperidge farm and a lot of turkeys to markdown.

Teppy your sinus infection could be effecting your balance. Messing with your inner ear.But PT could be really good. I did PT for my balance after my concussion and it really helped.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I assumed my electrolytes have been okay since then, but maybe not.
Check out what and how much of which electrolytes you are boosting. A lot of the stuff out there just gives you a little.

For me, and more post-Covid but in retrospect also before, I need way more than is in a lot of sports drinks. I was sucking down Gatoraids right before I took my last embarrassing fall. I supplement sodium, magnesium and potassium now.

Honestly I used to think I was level 1,000,000,000 clumsy and it turns out that, as long as I have enough minerals and water, I am only level 67 clumsy.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Dana (ETA: ... and meara!), I'm with you on the bubble-wrap opinion.

Spreading all sorts of good ~ma around the Buffista-verse this weekend. As I have said on many occasions before, I love the way we look out for each other.

You have my vote. Let's be honest.

Mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole done! Well, prepped. I'll put the topping and bake the casserole up there. But still, done, and it's not 11p like I was fearing; even cleaned the kitchen and mopped the floor. Gold star, baby.

Now I chill. I will do some minor cleaning tomorrow in prep for my friend who's coming to stay with Birdie, Izz, and Zoë. And since it's only an overnight, very little packing. Nice!

Hope everyone else is enjoying this T-Day Eve.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Pumpkin pie is in the oven, and that's all the prep we need to do for tomorrow. We're also taking really good cheese for appetizers, sourdough rolls that we'll bake at Mom's house, and ice cream. (Whenever we go to Tim's family, we bring wine, but my mom and stepdad are in the wine fandom, so they always have excellent wine.)

My side is very very very sore from falling in the — did I mention? — CAST-IRON tub. Ouch. When Tim got home, he very solemnly agreed I need PT for my balance. He's a little freaked out by how often I've taken some moderately bad tumbles. (I am, too.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I remember that! You know, in the way we all remember stuff about each other's lives that we weren't actually there for.

Indeed. I think of Cindy every time I see a chicklet and think of her son swallowing his tooth.

I also think of Zenkitty when I see Icelandic volcanoes.

Our wings are not tired

Kristin is in the midst of prep. I'm still in a tech rehearsal but am looking forward to getting home later tonight. Tomorrow I'll help with cleanup and the final push to get things ready for guests and then we have our wonderful time with our found family.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Happy Days, Buffistas all!
