Cranberry pie is made, courtesy of DH, and cheesy biscuits are made, courtesy of the 12-year-old. I've chopped veggies for roasting tomorrow. I'll also make the salad tomorrow while DH makes the main dish, a vegetarian shepherd's-pie-type of thing. We'll have a few guests who'll bring the rest. I think we're fairly well-stocked on drinks. The kids did a good job of helping us tidy today, and may even be willing to vacuum tomorrow morning.
We've more often travelled to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving these last few years, and I have to say I am really enjoying being home this year. Even with the work of hosting it still feels like a more relaxing break.

1. Discover one of your credit cards is missing 2. Remember you took it out in the laundromat yesterday 3. Check everywhere you can think, fail to find it 4. Call to cancel the card and order a new one 5. Head to the parents' house for Thanksgiving 6. Have your father find the missing card in the pocket of the shirt you were wearing in the laundry you brought down with you
