I'm fascinated how Reddit can be both a cesspool and a super great source of info depending on which subreddit you wander into.
So true -- also thanks for the link. I guess I did have the basic concept; I just kept getting hung up on things like, "Yeah, but if you compared how much ground beef they bought to how many hamburgers they claimed to sell..." But then with a place like a car wash -- there's no real way to tell how many cars went through. I mean, even if you had a counter, you could like, run the same car through ten times. or whatever. I would be a money launderer's worst nightmare with my inherent "Yeeeeaaaaah, but..."ism.
Not "our" place. The place. You know.
Heh. Yeah.
So, apparently a lot of the unpaid taxes have a lot to do with not submitting payroll taxes right or at all or whatever. Yikes.
I'm truly being a nerd. I'm 3D printing extra modules for my desk organizer system.
Sweet!
Whew, dcp, go you. And enjoy that Chinese food, yum.
Totally went down the rabbit hole of finance crap today. I mean, it was good in a way, and I learned some things, but also, it's overwhelming, because I only learned enough to know how much I need to dig in and learn more. tl;dr is we need a retirement tax advisor, even though we're not retiring any time soon. Looking at this one guy whose philosophy makes sense to me and who writes about concepts in a way that I can understand. Mostly.
