I'm apparently now the kind of person who goes to the gym three times a week. If only this personality transplant had happened in my 20s I might have a teeny bit of core strength by now. (I feel really good about the progress I'm making everywhere else but I literally cannot do one single sit-up.)

That day did come. The nice thing about exercise is that slow incremental change will accrue into new competence.
Ugh I dunno—I’ve been lifting weights for nearly two years now and I’m not sure I can lift any more than when I started. I mean, I also have lost 15-20 pounds during that time. But still. Beast mode it ain’t.
