Welp, DH's mom was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has spread to her lungs. So. We just got off the phone with her and his younger brother, who is with her. She seemed quite herself, because who else is she going to be? He is going up on Sunday to stay with her for a short visit. She's at an independent living stage of a swank place up in PA. And so begins navigating this journey. Any spare comfort and ease ~ his and her way would be lovely.

Thank you all for the bday wishes! It was very nice. I got two cakes! But I have guys here who will power through both of them toot sweet--no cake for days for me.
