Thank you all for the bday wishes! It was very nice. I got two cakes! But I have guys here who will power through both of them toot sweet--no cake for days for me. It certainly seems to be so for my mother. Then again, at 86 and 5/6 it's not as if she has a lot of options for hanging out with people who aren't younger.

We did some of that hanging out tonight when I took her out for dinner at a local Greek place. My chicken souvlaki was really good, her Greek salad not so much. But I made up for it by stopping at another local Greek place to pick up baklava for dessert.

I djed tonight which was more stressful than usual because I was testing out a new system for a friend who created it, but I think it went pretty well and hopefully will get easier as I get used to using it. And one of my favorite dancers from DC happened to show up, I had no idea he’d be there, so I got to do multiple really good dances!
