You know, I just... I woke up, and I looked in the mirror, and I thought, hey, what's with all the sin? I need to change. I'm... I'm dirty. I'm, I'm bad with the... sex and the envy and that, that loud music us kids listen to nowadays.

Thrive to spite them

On Monday besides calling the dentist I also need to call the vet and make an appointment for Scrappy. He had what I thought was an abscess on his mouth last month and we took him to the vet and it was cut and swollen and he had an infection. Then he seemed to get another cut under his chin but it seemed to be healing and then it was like the scabbing was moving up to the other side of his mouth-which is now swollen.

I have no idea what is going on but it seems like it's more than just a cut or something. But he doesn't act like it's bothering him, he lets us pet his head and scratch his chin (not on the scabbed area) and he even sat in my lap and purred the other day so.. I dunno.

August is not been a great month

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Interesting. Jonathan Byers (Stranger Things): 86%, Ariadne (Inception): 84%, Margo Dunne (Gone Girl): 84%, Remus Lupin (Harry Potter): 83%, Nomi Marks (Sense8): 83%, Willow Rosenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer): 82%, Daniel Jackson (Stargate SG-1): 82%. Skipping a few, I like this odd cluster... Stevie Budd (Schitt's Creek): 78%, Ben Hargreeves (The Umbrella Academy): 78%, Will Graham (Hannibal): 78% I mostly seem to be a solid supporting character. I'd be interested in seeing how many ratings were submitted for each show.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I mostly seem to be a solid supporting character.

I mean, Stevie Budd is PURE AWESOME. And Ben Hargreeves is the only Hargreeves sibling who isn't a hot goddamn mess. That could be because he's dead, though.

I can't argue with either of those assessments. And Ben gets to hang out with Klaus!

I'd say Margo Dunne is probably the most accurate though.

My bro is here and we are going to fortify with a big greasy brunch before Operation God Damn We Are Hillbilly Trash commences.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, best of luck. I'm glad that your brother was able to come in, everything shouldn't always have to fall on you.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Hope all went well, Steph.

Yesterday we took Mr. S to the county fair because he wanted to ride the rides. (When we were in CT we went to Ocean Beach which has some carnival rides along with, you know, the beach) Mostly went ok, until the point we were getting ready to go when he got upset about a) not getting to ride more rides, b) wanting to see the animals(which we let him do), c) being too tired to walk back to the shuttle to parking and d) having to wear a mask on said shuttle. All in that order. We ordered take-out instead of going to dinner since we were all tired and frazzled.

Wishing you a compliant and rational dad, Tep. Just this once.
