Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

Our wings are not tired.

Sounds like you needed the sleep, askye. My 11 yo nephew is quite addicted to Minecraft. My sister (his grandmother) and his mother play with him, but it is not my thing.

I've thought about dentistry as it has been a really long time, but ugh. I used to go to the dental school, but it is an hour each way drive. So between the chore of finding a local dentist and Covid, it just hasn't happened.

I didn't know most of the characters either, but I picked out the top ones I did know.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Tim is very busy finding the matching fitted sheet, top sheet, and pillowcase for the squooshy air mattress for my brother. The funny part there is that *we* don't even have matching pillowcases on our bed!

Thrive to spite them

On Monday besides calling the dentist I also need to call the vet and make an appointment for Scrappy. He had what I thought was an abscess on his mouth last month and we took him to the vet and it was cut and swollen and he had an infection. Then he seemed to get another cut under his chin but it seemed to be healing and then it was like the scabbing was moving up to the other side of his mouth-which is now swollen.

I have no idea what is going on but it seems like it's more than just a cut or something. But he doesn't act like it's bothering him, he lets us pet his head and scratch his chin (not on the scabbed area) and he even sat in my lap and purred the other day so.. I dunno.

August is not been a great month

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Interesting. Jonathan Byers (Stranger Things): 86%, Ariadne (Inception): 84%, Margo Dunne (Gone Girl): 84%, Remus Lupin (Harry Potter): 83%, Nomi Marks (Sense8): 83%, Willow Rosenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer): 82%, Daniel Jackson (Stargate SG-1): 82%. Skipping a few, I like this odd cluster... Stevie Budd (Schitt's Creek): 78%, Ben Hargreeves (The Umbrella Academy): 78%, Will Graham (Hannibal): 78% I mostly seem to be a solid supporting character. I'd be interested in seeing how many ratings were submitted for each show.

I mean, Stevie Budd is PURE AWESOME. And Ben Hargreeves is the only Hargreeves sibling who isn't a hot goddamn mess. That could be because he's dead, though.

I can't argue with either of those assessments. And Ben gets to hang out with Klaus!

I'd say Margo Dunne is probably the most accurate though.

My bro is here and we are going to fortify with a big greasy brunch before Operation God Damn We Are Hillbilly Trash commences.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, best of luck. I'm glad that your brother was able to come in, everything shouldn't always have to fall on you.
