I know. I know it would not be good.

Now I don't know what to think. My instinct is to believe Dana, but mac and cheese casts a pretty compelling spell (I have tried a number of dishes that include mac and cheese in some unlikely way that are not so much bad as just not worth the effort and I have clearly not learned my lesson)

The last 2 days I have felt increasingly bad as the day went on. Headache, chills inside (no fever), sluggish, slightly upset stomach. Yesterday after I walked the dogs and fed them, I laid out in the recliner with a throw over me and drank water and listened to podcasts. Around 8 I fell asleep, so when I woke up I took the dogs out one more time and went to bed. Felt great this morning, got up early and everything. Now I am yuck again.

I've had a couple of amazingly good savory ice creams, always in the form of some absurd frou-frou appetizer in a fancy mod cuisine joint where you get, like, a tiny cone of avocado or wasabi or something on a plate of equally absurd but tasty things. For like 2 bites. I can't emphasize that part enough.

Kraft Mac ice cream is not that.

I could maybe get cheaper internet and get rid of DirecTV but I have kind of tried and it's a lot of effort and wouldn't make much of a dent so I don't want to. Everything else is pretty fixed. I actually paid off 4 credit cards earlier this year with a combination of stimulus money and a gift from my mother, and I was all excited because that meant another $175 disposable without those minimum payments but then my mortgage payment went up $150/month (escrow, I assume for insurance) so that was discouraging. It's not unworkable, I can live with it, I just would be happier if I thought this was temporary.

I was wrong, I do have a baby fever. 100.9, so 3 degrees for me. I guess Tylenol and bed.
