Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Happy birthday, Vortex!

Excellent work, Hec! I well remember the death glares.

I was only in Pennsylvania for one cicada event and that was quite enough. Everyone dealing with it has my sincere sympathies.

Today is being very Mondayish.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

and no matter how many times I minimize Word and ignore it for a few hours, it has so far completely failed to finish itself. Stupid non-self-writing paper.

"What?! Still unfinished! Well, that'll get you minimized for another two hours until you do better!"

At which point she shouts back "just a sec!"

"I'm coming!" she'll say as I'm standing at the door for five...ten minutes trying to get her somewhere on time.

Excellent work, Hec! I well remember the death glares.

The thing is, she comes back from her run with an iced blended caramel cappucino and she's perky and chatty and alert and in a good mood. So it's 100% worth making her run but it is such a drag getting her up.

We didn't make her go to church yesterday, and she slept in past noon.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

In conclusion I have said everything already therefore this is the end of the paper goodbye.

That's what conclusions are just in different words, right?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I have said everything already

Would it help to think of it as writing an elevator pitch? Or does it need to be more involved and detailed than that?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

That's what conclusions are just in different words, right?

Yeah I just need to stretch that to like three paragraphs about how consumption patterns during the 1918 influenza pandemic something something racism something modern day blah.

It really does seem like Word should be able to do that on its own. Have you tried turning on Autosuggest: Conclusion? Where's Clippy when you need him?

I think you could do this as either Mad Libs, or crowdsourced or crowdsourced Mad Libs.

It looks like you're trying to bullshit your way to the required pagecount, do you want help?

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

We didn't make her go to church yesterday, and she slept in past noon.

I'm not a parent, but I do remember being a teenager, and ISTR that teens need about 100 hours of sleep in any given 24-hour period.
