I don't know why I'm not already best friends with Carla Lalli-Music. This is what I get for leaving New York.
I'm pretty sure she would love you and you would be besties. The BA video with her and Molly Baz going to Italy to learn how to make mozzarella by hand (and drinking a lot of wine) was very jolly.
I'm kinda nostalgic for the cicadas....but not that nostalgic.
Now I want someone to make me a brocco-taco (I do not feel like cooking one).

NEWS FLASH! ****** It is Monday and I could not care less about working today, I have a ton of motivation to do more things around my house after a fairly successful weekend of GETTING SHIT DONE. Can we please implement 3 day weekend at least every other week???
I've already worked out the math on how this could be my reality, but I do not think Big Boss would go for it.
I've done a lot of three-day weekends this year and still have not gotten much done around the house, somehow.
Apparently I filled in an identifying number wrong on my tax form. About to go fix that.
And I'm doing DP's taxes next. This counts for the eventual sainthood bid, right?
First and foremost, the Nilly birthday calendar tells me it is a Happy Birthday to Vortex day! We don't see her often enough so let's hope she has more time to visit in the year to come. (Also birthday boob smoosh just because)
Also, it is the anniversary of the first Buffista F2F in 2002. Sniff.
It is a Monday. Did lots of security updates on the weekend for all our servers and are paying the price this morning. Ugh and then some.
Oh, wow, 2002. That was before my time. Twentieth anniversary of F2Fs next year. Seems momentous....

I fixed my tax form. Ooh, and I called Amex to update my bank a ccount for payment Onerous Task #1 completed. On to OT#2 - DP's taxes.

Praise me! I got Matilda up on a Monday morning. It only took 45 minutes and 6 prods, whilst dodging her death glares and resentful complaints.
It is an onerous task.
