We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That is delightful news about JZ's brother. I had wondered how he was doing several times, then forgot to ask.

We saw him tonight! He looks hale.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I’m so relieved to hear JZ’s brother is doing so well.

Our wings are not tired.

That is awesome. I hope there were many bear hugs.

Spent a week with my sisters, with hugs! Now back on my coast. Busy few days then send Mona back to NY on Thursday.

"You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.” —Bette Davis

Glad to hear JZ's brother is doing well.

**Is socioeconomic status a problem in medicine? Sure. Does that mean that racism doesn't exist anymore? Jesus Christ, no. Are race and socioeconomic status intertwined to the point of being inseparable? Sure, but it still doesn't mean that racism doesn't exist anymore or that structural racism isn't a problem in medicine.

Oh, to be able to "gift" some people with ita's ER experiences trying to get treatment for her migraines, which always made me mad enough to spit nails. Though if I could have done that, I'd have started with her doctors.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm checking in.

I worked about 6 weeks in December/January without a day off (not even xmas). I was working 60-80 hour weeks up until March, which left me so stressed and anxious I couldn't think straight, affecting my job performance.

They terminated my contract on March 3rd. My mom passed away a few days later. March was not good.

I'm still looking for a job. The job marked for database developers sucks now. If I had more skills as a database administrator I could easily find a job with a big salary, but the jobs I am qualified for are getting on average 30 applications. I thank the goddess (and Democrats) that the government is paying for my COBRA.

On the bright side, a new AD has made this stuff much easier to deal with.

Thanks Gud and Laura. Now that I have more free time I'll try and stay caught up here.

ION, I have discovered a word for what I am: agender. I'm trying to figure out if I'm aromantic.

Punishingly Intricate

I was terrified of general anesthesia until I had it and now I LOVE it.
