So sorry about the stuff with iTunes. Moving the library file can be tricky. For folks that have to do this in the future, under File>Library>Organize Library there is an option for Consolidate Library. This is very helpful before you do a move, or to move things to a new location. You can move your media library location and then tell iTunes to consolidate and it will make copies of files in the new location and update the links correctly.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Timelies all!
So the second batch of meetings for Gary's work started.(It actually started earlier this week, but the stuff he has to talk about/keep an eye on started today) So this weekend's gonna be fun...
Dad's home
Yay!
...wasn't a heart attack....
Yay!
...collapsed....
Boo! But glad help was immediately at hand, and did the right thing for him.
Collapses are bad in general, but they are worse if they lead to "skeletal related events" (SREs). Men with metastatic prostate cancer don't recover well from SREs. [link]
So tell him, "No more of this collapsing nonsense! Don't fall down! Don't break anything!"
I've come close a couple times. Once in April 2020 when I had a fever as a side effect of a new medication. (Is it ironic that the shot was intended to treat my osteopenia and strengthen my bones?) And once just after Christmas 2020, when chemo caused a blood pressure drop.
Pre-emptive caution is in order. "Just say, 'No!'" doesn't really help when you are already falling down.
Yes on the endorsement of pre-emptive caution, alas, we usually don't get careful until we take a fall or two.
tell him, "No more of this collapsing nonsense! Don't fall down! Don't break anything!"
Yeah, about that . . . .
I might have mentioned here that last year he was on a roof helping with a fellow parishioner's shingles? My very sensible comments along the lines of "Dad, you are 76, you are not well, please supervise from the ground" were not heeded.
Maybe "random blacking out with bonus vomiting and falling down for Unknown Reasons" was sufficiently frightening that this time he'll listen. I can hope.
Thank you, truly.
Not sure if I said earlier but Gris that is both excellent and ducked up that your wife is flying to New Orleans to get a vaccine!! I mean yay that she can, but boo that she needs to? I hope you can get vaccinated soon too and that her trip goes smoothly!!
Yeah. I'm probably gonna go next week. Yay beignets and shots.
Yay! I'm sorry you have to go so far, but whatever it takes.
I made my appointment for my first vaccine! I get jabbed Wednesday with the Moderna vaccine.
Teppy, welcome to Club Moderna! We're smaller than the Pfizer Pfederation, but our famous members include Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Francis Collins, and a cadre of Buffistas. Lasting side effects of the Moderna vaccine include confidence and relief.
amyparker, I'm glad your dad is doing better. I'm mentally blessing his friends and booting his arse as I type.
Gris, I'm glad your Mrs. has gotten her first shot. I hope you get yours next week.
Yay Club Moderna! DH is part of the Pfizer team, but I am Moderna.
