Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I generally do not care about Hemingway, but he had polydactyl cats, and I have a polydactyl cat. So if the documentary is about the cats?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Askye, I'm so sorry tons of ~ma for your family.

Should I care about Ernest Hemingway?

Only if it means reading The Paris Wife.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Weather was great tonight to take Mom out for her birthday dinner on the outdoor patio of Houlihan's. We happened to run into my best friend and his wife there, and they sprung for dessert (yay!) and had a waitress sing Happy Birthday to Mom (not so yay). We also found that both of them are refusing to get vaccinated, which I don't even know how that's possible if you're a pediatrics nurse in a children's hospital.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Only if it means reading The Paris Wife.

That was confusing for a second, because I read a just-OK book called The Paris Orphan, which has Martha Gellhorn as a character!

Heh. The Paris Wife is by Paula McLain, who also has a book about Gellhorn, which I have not read yet.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Much ~ma to your family, askye.

Re: Hemmingway. While I’m not terribly into his writing, he was an interesting person who lived through interesting times and knew other writers and artists of the time period. I could see a Hemmingway bio being worthwhile.

I'm enjoying "Hemingway", but I find biographies interesting. Having said that, I'm not running out to buy any of his books. I found the first episode, where they talk about how his writing impacted other writers the most interesting so far.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Ugh Matt Re: friends refusing vaccine. So far the ppl I know refusing are front desk lady at work, janitor at work, dogwalker’s husband, and my cousin who had Covid. Oh and so far, my son. I am losing my ability to hold my tongue at all. It is selfish and stupid.

Thrive to spite them

Thanks everyone . I realized Jay and I are the same age. I forget that for some reason. He has never been particularly nice to me, especially as kids. But he has always been fond of mom and called her a few weeks ago to get some advice on how to deal with his mom.

I got an update and Mom said they are waiting for the bleeding to stop and the swelling to go down and then he'll have to wake up on his own but there is very little chance of that.

I am very very worried about his son. Jay is his main parent. His mother is....horrible. she was physically abusive at times towards Jay. She is an alcoholic who has never gotten sober. Jay is an only child so he has no siblings. His mother is 80 and really should be in assisted living.

It's just so sad
