Our wings are not tired.

Yay vaccines! It is such a lessening of stress to get jabbed.

Cass, it sounds very much like a bad combo of unfortunate events. Sending vibes for good brain vibes.

Top of the morning all! My 31st anniversary today. No plans. I am having a very small family gathering Sunday with corned beef (and tempeh) and cabbage and stuff. SIL from NY will be here visiting.

sj, that is awesome!

I was wide awake at 5a, fell back asleep at 6a, and now I'm groggy. Blech. Going to see whether coffee and pancakes are the cure.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Meanwhile, in Ireland, they have a visitor.

What is even happening?

Cindy, thank you thank you thank you! Thanks to your post and insomnia I have vaccine appointments!!!

sj, I'm so glad my old teammate, insomnia, and I were of some help.

Today, Governor Baker announced the vaccine rollout schedule for everyone else in Massachusetts, so if TCG hasn't had his, sign him up when you can, too. [link]

Residents over the age of 60 and workers in certain industries will become eligible to book appointments this Monday, March 22, followed by residents over the age of 55 and individuals with at least one qualifying medical condition that puts them at an increased risk due to COVID-19 on Monday, April 5.

Then, on Monday, April 19, the state will expand eligibility to all residents over the age of 16, according to Baker’s office.

Baker is having a press conference at 10:30 EDT.

TCG has his, my mother stepfather and grandfather have theirs, my inlaws have theirs. I'm the last holdout, and two weeks after I get my last shot, I'm shipping ltc off to her grandparents for several days.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I just got my appointment for my first Pfizer jab on Friday. Yay!

What is even happening?

Oh yes! I'm sure you need the break, and ltc and her grandparents need spoiling time.

My DH and mom have had both shots and are 2+ weeks out from the second shot. C will get his second shot on 3/23. I'm scheduled for mine on 4/8. My older kids still haven't begun theirs (which is right, since they're healthy 20-somethings).

It would be nice if everyone could be vaccinated by Mother's Day. The other day, my mother (who has been pretty good about staying safe) said, "I can't believe it's been a year of my life. I'm 84. I don't have many left." Which -- I mean -- I know, but it still made me sick to my stomach.
