Yes. Lucky for you, people may be in danger.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Congrats, Sparky1! It's not clear here if higher ed faculty and staff are in a better category than "the general public," but either way, they are at least two groups from now.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I am willing to hold Teppy's Awesome Doctor with the same esteem as I do Doc Cathy the Elephant Trampler.

Both of them are up there with my Dr. Bobbi and Awesome Therapist.

Dr Bobbi: "Jillian, even vampires need to have their blood panels done. Stop pouting."

Awesome Therapist: "Which Fall Out Boy album are you listening to on repeat? I need to know what emotional shorthand your brain has latched on to."

Our wings are not tired

I got my shot through Walgreens here in CA, but for those looking to snag an appointment, here is a tracker that works for Rite Aid and Walgreens. It's how I found an appointment.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It's been a busy day for me. Took Nova to the vet for a senior cat checkup. She's gained weight, which is good. She's got an ear infection, which means I have to add another med to the routine for the next two weeks. Then I went out to pick up lunch, and after lunch was food shopping.

Gary has no idea when he will be eligible for the vaccine, since he's under 65 and has no co-morbidities, plus his job can be(and has been) virtual. Even less of an idea when Mr. S can get one, since he's only 5.

"You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.” —Bette Davis

They haven't approved any vaccines as safe for young children, have they? Though my understanding is the risk of serious symptoms is miniscule for them.

I know they are just starting to test on teenagers around here.

information libertarian

One of Dillo’s friends is in the Cincinnati trial for 12-18. We tried to get in but they were full, but then they called me asking if I had any children 11 or younger, so they are going to start child trials soon.

What is even happening?

Pfizer is currently authorized for ages 16 and up, with Moderna and the one-shot Johnson & Johnson for 18 and up.

The word here in MA, and maybe elsewhere as well?, is to go directly to the CVS site early in the morning.

Thank you for the tip, Jesse, because I've had no luck. Did your mom get her vaccine?

Yeah, I'm sure they're working on children's trials--you could check clinicaltrials.gov if you wanted to see if there's any enrolling near you.

This whole rollout is crazy--and it feels like Washington is really slow, which is inexplicable. We're usually pretty good? We have techies? We have amazon? C'mon guys! Even with the recent updates, it's still only down to like "people with multiple comorbidities on the list" (not just one) at the end of April??

I am hoping that the big vaccine clinic at the football stadium will help. I signed up to volunteer there next Saturday.

Yep! Second dose a week from Monday!
