Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

We get alerts from my parents’ retirement community every time they have a case

Yeah, Tim's dad's facility does send emails whenever there are any positive cases, even if it's not a resident, which I appreciate.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

We missed canceling our flood insurance on the previous house, but thankfully also got a refund.

Fingers crossed for your FIL, Steph.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I need to make sure I’m not paying insurance on a car I sold.

Our clients are infuriating me. We called our 9 am appt at 9:10 and she said she meant to call us. For a health certificate that a software update that is kicking us off before we can do anything useful. Our 10 am let us know when we called to get records before the appointment that she no longer needed the appt. and the 11 needs to call me with an address but probably will wait until she gets here.

We are closing at noon and I planned to work until 2 but eff that, I’m done for the week.

I’m not really fond of international health certificates that took me many hours (with good records, I can have one ready in 90 minutes.) to prepare just don’t show up.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Just got an email that a formula we use in a bi-weekly report is wrong and to please see the correct version. Thing is I have emails from May saying to use what I used.

Awaiting email that all is ok or that I need to redo reports back to May.

Also our previous person who received this report? Rightly let go.

AAaaand it is most definitely wrong. Inaccurate wording in one of the old emails led me to make the mistake. Jesus Christo. Now to correct everything.

Oh whew! They do not want corrected ones going back, just going forward.

Formula was wrong by a multiplication of 0.1975 on each line. They can fix that pretty easy, I guess.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

I've been in the position of checking, "has our payroll package, used by dozens of offices, been calculating wrong for months?"

(It hadn't, thank goodness.)

Yikes, I hate when you realize somethings been done wrong for a long time and have to go back and fix it all! Worse yet if you do that and then there’s either some other error or they decide it didn’t need to be done...

I am trying to complete my year end review. Not sure how to say “give me my fucking promotion or I quit” in polite terms.
