Oh, Shir! I am so sorry to hear this. I was really looking forward to you having this escape and distraction from the day-to-day stresses. I was also looking forward to the hugs! I do hope some solution presents itself.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.

Oh, Shir, that stinks, but I will continue to hold out hope. My doors are open whenever, friend.
Damn, Shir. This all sucks so very much.
This sucks a lot. :(
Thank you, all. I really appreciate your posts. I was really looking forward to see as many of you as possible. I really wanted this vacation and some time off to clear my mind a bit from everything here.

I'm justifying this to myself with the knowledge that, given the opportunity, I will eat charcuterie plates as often as I can.

Ha! My friend calls this Girl Dinner.
They do have a particularly fabulous charcuterie option at my bar, Alembic. With the requisite cheese and meats but also garlic confit and fig jam and coarse grained mustard etc. Not to mention a fab vegan mushroom pate.
