Thank you, all. I really appreciate your posts. I was really looking forward to see as many of you as possible. I'll speak with my travel agent on Sunday to see if there's a detour via Europe sometime in the next two weeks, but damn. Mr. Loomycakes is out of town at a big Magic: the Gathering event, being Mr. Famous Artist. I decided I wanted a charcuterie plate, so I used DoorDash to have a bunch of fancy snacks delivered. I'm justifying this to myself with the knowledge that, given the opportunity, I will eat charcuterie plates as often as I can.

They do have a particularly fabulous charcuterie option at my bar, Alembic. With the requisite cheese and meats but also garlic confit and fig jam and coarse grained mustard etc. Not to mention a fab vegan mushroom pate.
