Oh, no, Tep, I'm sorry. I'm glad your therapist is supporting you! You are being way more spiritually advanced than I with the relapses happen acceptance, it definitely sucks.
Good call on letting the line drive joy stand without dropping the pancreatic cancer news as soon as possible. I'm relieved you will be able to share that with Matilda, though.
That's a lot of family crap, Steph.
Steph, I am sorry. Lots of ~ma to you and your family.
David, I'm thinking of you and Matilda.
And in a separate post: she does not have the time to check the board these days, but I wanted to let you all know that Nilly's eldest will have his Bar Mitzvah soon. He'll be reading Book of Esther this Sunday/Monday.
It's an extra joy to bring good news to this board, after announcing mostly bad news in the past six months.

Bar Mitzvah is exciting, but wait until he turns 17!!
Oh, wow, passage of time. Book of Esther seems like a pretty sweet portion for a Bar Mitzvah!
I made too much muffin mix (don't ask), and I think I'm going to try it out in my new bundt cake pan.
It is good to read that there is some normalcy in Nilly's life.
Also, of course I want to know about the excess muffin mix.
Oh, Steph, so sorry to hear about your brother and I’d be mad at him for lying too and for not being the sibling you need to deal with the shit happening with your dad right now.
Also, of course I want to know about the excess muffin mix.
I SAID not to ask.
The recipe didn't have a yield and I just follow instructions without any actual thought behind it, so it was only as I was spooning mix into the muffin tin that I went, "....wait, that's a lot."
