To be fair (to be fair) my “good” cholesterol is pretty great.

surgery is still surgery and spine stuff is just terrifying.
Truer words... I haven't addressed my issues which are increasing in needing to be addressness.
All the best to your Dad, msbelle.
Surgery is over, they are closing. Family can see him in couple of hours.
Thanks y’all.
May his recovery be rapid and effective.
Good to hear, msbelle.
In my corner of the medical world. -- we're going to try gabapentin, with a check in tomorrow via phone... well, app... to see how it works, and if not sufficient, an Rx for Perc in the wings -- I have a week long group of work meetings out of town all next week, so I needed a back-plan in place.
Hoping the gabapentin works. Good talk with her. Sucks that I can't take anti-inflammatories, basically.
Now I'm having a burger at my local diner, as my reward for something. And because very hungry.
Hoping the gabapentin works. Good talk with her.
Since shingles affects the nerves, it makes sense that gapabentin would work. Fingers crossed!
Mom has seen dad and he seems well. The surgery tomorrow is more intensive and longer.
Msbelle, tons of surgery~ma for your dad.
ltc is still feeling crappy. She has a lot of congestion and they ran tests on the usual suspects. I should have the results by tomorrow or Saturday. She’s so upset about missing school and a birthday party on Saturday.
Aw, bummer.
OK, hamburger eaten, into the pharmacy, then home for some more work... and.orobs a nap/got bed super early. Go INto bed, anyway. Maybe hot cocoa.
Ugh. My big wire transfer didn't go through yesterday because I have two different checking accounts and I gave them my account number for the joint account with JZ instead of the account number for the Living Trust.
So, the good news is that the money did not disappear into the ether nor re-routed to a Nigerian prince, but now we have to do it all again tomorrow while the IRS taps it's foot impatiently, or perhaps is rubbing its hands in glee at the idea of seizing my property.
