I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, just "sorry, that appointment no longer exists" would have been worse. I have to admit, this is a nice thing about Kaiser, when one of my doctor's disappears they just assign me a new one. Apparently.

"We sent you 500 ravens!"

Ha!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I will say, I liked my old PCP fine, but she retired, and my new one is so online, it's amazing. She's like, "try this, if it doesn't work, send me a note in the app and I'll send in the other option." And she does!!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I'm so used to Awesome Doctor (my PCP), who I've been seeing for literally 30 years (I need to tell him he's not allowed to retire), who is fantastic with sending messages/changing meds/etc through MyChart. I've been seeing my OB/GYN for 30 years, too, and the relationship is just not there with her. But she always provided good care, so I stuck with her for the continuity.

Our wings are not tired.

Ugh, I have to get a new PCP too. Mine is retiring, and I moved. I've decided to go with one of my former practices because we are still friends. I don't have any serious ongoing issues, so it is more just checking stuff regularly. It would be simply awesome if they communicated via tech, but it doesn't look like that is the case for this practice.

I'm sorry for your loss, Daniel.

Cereal: Timelies, y'all.

(Sorry for hardly being online lately - I find that ever since some of the hostages started to come home, I have to practically avoid the news, and not just moderately read some, because it's too emotionally drainning for me. The sharp difference between hope and despair, the joy for those who are home and the worries for those who aren't - I prefer to avoid reading any of it. But that mostly means not being online at all, so, like I've just written above, sorry. We're still as well as possible.)

I appreciate you checking in, Nilly. It is understandable that you need to protect your emotional state. Sending coping~ma and love in abundance.

This, very much. And yet I read some of it. Probably more than is healthy.
