On a separate note, I could also use Hivemind help on a cheap, pre-paid plan phone for the girls.
They don't have anything now and it's hard to function in the City without one, much less stay in touch with people.
So I'm for something that can download useful apps like NextBus and send texts and take pictures.
Somebody said Cricket. But I don't know anything about phones and plans except how to pay my bill on our iPhones.
we use some kind of gummy for women. as a supplement, not a phone plan.--eta.
I use Puretalk which is AT&T based. It works, but it's not fancy and can require some phone configuration. My wife has Mint Mobile which, again, not fancy but it works and is based on T-mobile (and owned by T-mobile now I think). Both have worked fine and are pretty inexpensive. No phone configuration with Mint so far.
I feel bad I've been away for so long. Just a lot going on with work and some health (not anything too serious) issues.
It took HOURS to find the three supplements I needed from actual reputable third-party tested sources. Huge pain in the ass.
Always good to see your pixels, Gud
Hi, Gud!!!
Anybody have an opinion on gut health and supplements to support your gut biome?
In my experience, you sometimes have to experiment with different brands of probiotics to see which one works best. (Although my gut is such a jerk that I'm turning to weed, so maybe don't listen to me.)
Hey Gud! I was just looking at Mint Mobile and that looked good, or maybe it's all the ads by Ryan Reynolds following me around.
What -t said, Gud. It's definitely ok to just drop in when you can; we'll always be glad to hear from you.
As smonster said a bit up-thread, hugs/fistbumps/other appropriate gestures of affection and esteem for everyone who needs or wants one. Long live Buffista solidarity, dammit.
Well, we haven't had any trouble with Mint. As long as you aren't in a T-mobile dead zone. My office was in a T-mobile dead zone when I got Puretalk. Thinking about switching it to Mint at some point.
