Hi, Gud!!!
Anybody have an opinion on gut health and supplements to support your gut biome?
In my experience, you sometimes have to experiment with different brands of probiotics to see which one works best. (Although my gut is such a jerk that I'm turning to weed, so maybe don't listen to me.)
Hey Gud! I was just looking at Mint Mobile and that looked good, or maybe it's all the ads by Ryan Reynolds following me around.
What -t said, Gud. It's definitely ok to just drop in when you can; we'll always be glad to hear from you.
As smonster said a bit up-thread, hugs/fistbumps/other appropriate gestures of affection and esteem for everyone who needs or wants one. Long live Buffista solidarity, dammit.
Well, we haven't had any trouble with Mint. As long as you aren't in a T-mobile dead zone. My office was in a T-mobile dead zone when I got Puretalk. Thinking about switching it to Mint at some point.
In terms of supplements, the best thing I've done for myself is get iron and b-complex patches. I can tell the difference in my energy levels if I forget to stick them on.
We switched from T-Mobile to Mint, because cheaper and basically the same coverage. Or maybe exactly the same coverage? And then T-Mobile bought Mint, so... Mint service has been fine + bonus Ryan Reynolds. I don't know from phones, though.
Cereal:
Always good to see you, Gud!
Gud! Lovely seeing your pixles.
supplements
Last year, when I reported leg and arm cramps to my PCP, he had me start taking 400mg of OTC magnesium, and that has helped a lot.
Last month, my nephrologist expressed concern about my ongoing slight anemia and low vitamin D level, so I've doubled my OTC multivitamin (pharmacy brand that duplicates what is in Centrum Silver) and started taking an OTC iron supplement. Next blood draw is the day before Halloween ("All doctors are wampires." -- Pavel Chekov) and I am curious to see if the change has made any difference.
When my doctor was going over my most recent labs (which is when we discovered I have mild anemia), she immediately said,
"This means iron supplements, not going and feasting on the villagers".
It's like she knows me or something.
