He lives in Cleveland and it was shockingly (to me) nice. Really green and a lot of open spaces in what appeared to be contiguous parks.

Next Saturday (the 23rd), I'm one of the neicephews (a nephew, to be exact) is getting married, and I am officiating. I'm basically the Beckmeyer family wedding officiant now. And I need to practice the ceremony with Tim and the kitty as the audience, so that I don't cry while I'm doing it for real, and also so I don't talk too quickly, which is a really bad habit I've never been able to break.

I'm sure it was a beautiful day out, but I walked into my church before 9 this morning and didn't leave again until 6:30. That was not normal, and a long day. Phew!

I have a friend who is allergic to Benadryl and that just seems monumentally unfair and terrible. Sudafed is similarly bad sensitivity.

We adopted a sweet pup yesterday (she's 11, but small, so I keep calling her a puppy), Birdie, and I had a dentist appointment and attended a med appt. with DH already today. What the what? Too much adulting for one morning!
