Holding you in my heart.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.

All comfort and courage to your house, David. Love to each of you.
Sending you both peace, light, and love. I'm glad she's with you in this, despite how hard it must be for you.
David, I've been lighting candles on my altar for all of you.
I just want her to sleep and ease out of this world.
That's how it was for my Mom, and I'm so grateful for that.
I'm glad she's with you in this, despite how hard it must be for you.
I think it's made it easier for all of us. Just the privilege of tending to her. Matilda has been very loving and a great nurse. This is obviously a grievous loss which will take years to process but I think she's going to have very loving memories to work with here.
All of the close caretakers can see that it's time. She's ready. This in between space where she's lost cognitive function and the ability to engage has been difficult for her. Jacqueline is ready.
Sending you all so much love. It's been a privilege for us, too, to be invited to witness from afar, and to share this time with you, like we've shared so much else. May we all be cared for so tenderly and so well when it's our time.
I hope she has a peaceful transition. She is very loved. And we were all very lucky to have her. She will not be forgotten.
Sending my love, and praying my way through the Litany at the Time of Death from the Book of Common Prayer, which as always has some gorgeous language:
Receive her into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen
So much love to you all, David. May her passing be peaceful.
Love to Jacqueline, and to you and your family David. If this is her time, may her passing be easy.
