David, I know that feeling well. I just wanted my grandfather to not be in anymore pain near the end. Wishing any easy passing for Jacqueline, and I’m keeping all of you in my heart.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Sending my love, and I'm wishing for ease of passing for Jacqueline and holding you all in my heart tightly and with so much love.
Big hugs, Hec. My sister and I had to do a controlled slide to the floor with my mom when her legs stopped supporting her and I sat on the floor with her for half an hour until we figured out how to get her up. We called hospice but the on call nurse was almost an hour away. It was very stressful.
I am sorry. May it be as gentle and quiet as possible.
Holding you in my heart.
All comfort and courage to your house, David. Love to each of you.
Sending you both peace, light, and love. I'm glad she's with you in this, despite how hard it must be for you.
David, I've been lighting candles on my altar for all of you.
I just want her to sleep and ease out of this world.
That's how it was for my Mom, and I'm so grateful for that.
I'm glad she's with you in this, despite how hard it must be for you.
I think it's made it easier for all of us. Just the privilege of tending to her. Matilda has been very loving and a great nurse. This is obviously a grievous loss which will take years to process but I think she's going to have very loving memories to work with here.
All of the close caretakers can see that it's time. She's ready. This in between space where she's lost cognitive function and the ability to engage has been difficult for her. Jacqueline is ready.
Sending you all so much love. It's been a privilege for us, too, to be invited to witness from afar, and to share this time with you, like we've shared so much else. May we all be cared for so tenderly and so well when it's our time.
