JZ contributes to Planned Parenthood but also devotes a fair amount of time and money to Trans Teens in crisis. So if you have a local charity focused on support for Trans Teens, that's something she would love.

You and EM really did a fantastic job of coparenting and moving past the old hurts, I can't stress this enough. Too many people just can't.

The best gift my parents gave me - beyond knowing them - was that ALL of the parents in our lives were there for all of us. It's hard but I am grateful.

I keep typing half a post and getting distracted by work or the like and switching devices and never actually posting anything, but I am thinking of you all every time I am *not* hyperfocused on some dumb work thing, especially the Zmayhems. She's the late wife of a pal, and sadly passed of cancer just as Transform was getting established. It's based in Cincinnati. [link]

Now I’m remembering my dad at the VA hospital years ago and we sent three pizzas for the nurse’s station and somehow nobody realized and thought they were all for him. (!!)
