Hec just reminded me of an organization started by Nancy Dawson, who had two trans children and realized there was a need for a new wardrobe for people changing their outward appearance to match gender identity. Now I’m remembering my dad at the VA hospital years ago and we sent three pizzas for the nurse’s station and somehow nobody realized and thought they were all for him. (!!)

The first night after the surgery pain meds is a terrible adjustment. Glad he’s staying ahead of the pain.
I don’t like feeling helpless when there is a mountain of practical shit to be done.
Thanks for the trans wardrobe links. Oliver doesn’t have any trouble finding clothes, but Robin has a lot more difficulty matching her clothes to her gender identity. And that’s WITH ME as a mom (the person who will throw money around clothes shopping like paper at a ticker tape parade).
I hope JZ gets home safe and is more comfortable at home. David, I know you have a support team and this is a nightmare of planning and stuff but hand iff any task you possibly can.
My brother in law always amazed me with his ability to effectively co-parent with his ex. The “kid” is 20 now and a junior in college and they never went through the courts to manage any custody or child support issues. Which, in this day and age (and with infidelity at the root of their breakup) is a miracle of patience and decency.
