Oh very good news.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I was going to say, are any of us great patients?
Whenever he was hospitalized, my father was always the favorite patient on the floor. Also in rehab. And in fall class where the olds go to learn how to fall. (Better, not more.)
I’m probably not a great patient because I know too much and am willing to speak up for myself. But I am generally a compliant patient (take meds prescribed, regularly/on time, track blood pressure as requested or whatever).
Went to the US game last night and they looked awful. Just sloppy and couldn’t find each other when passing etc. so not sure I’ll be seeing them beyond the next game, even though I have tickets to several more! V sad.
Yay Tim feeling better, what does the next surgery do then?

He gets the hardware for the vertebral fusions, which involves a lot of vertebrae.
Doing the indictment dance!! Woot Woot!!
Aw, Indictment Day is my favorite holiday.
Lots of surgeries! My mother apparently had surgery this morning, lump-ectomy for recurrent breast cancer (last round was...15 years ago? And pretty minor). I did not know that today was the day.
We're excellent communicators.
She's holding off on the radiation treatment until after she comes out for birth of grandbaby number 2 sometime in the next just-under-4-weeks. I am 100 percent ready to be off on maternity leave.
Every 20 patients or so, we get someone who follows the guidelines, does the exercises independently, is pleasant and easy-going, and inevitably leaves in a quarter of the time of the patients who, for example, decide to not even try to use the bathroom for their toileting needs all weekend, just hanging in bed and not using any of the skills we've been working on all week, dammit.
So, it's a continuum. I'm sure all Buffistas are on the "not actively self-sabotaging" end of the spectrum.

I'll bet! Bobby was born in August and I remember wearing as little as possible without regard for what anyone may have considered decent.

I'm not bad so much as pitiful and pathetic. Don't fight but want to be catered to as much as possible.
A bit of surgery ~ma for my great nephew too. 13 years old and was feeling miserable and vomiting and stuff. Ends up he has a twisted testicle. Surgeon says it is a quick and easy procedure. But anesthesia and knives are involved, as well as sensitive bits, so ouch.
Nephew is okay. Dopey and they are keeping him overnight but procedure went well.
