'Serenity'
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ouch! I've heard guys who've had testicular torsion say the pain is worse than kidney stones.
I'm a very compliant patient, but I really just want to be left alone when ill.
The thing that sucks for a teenager during summer is no strenuous activity for 4 weeks. Not that he is interested in doing any sports at the moment, as his parents say he is walking like a cowboy. Apparently it was a puberty thing that happens. But he'll be fine.
I'm glad the procedure went well, Laura.
I'm one of those "follow process and procedures for a week, and then screw it," patients. Which is great if there's a one-week recovery time, and less good otherwise.
Poor kid. I hope his recovery goes smoothly.
And lots of ~ma to Tim as well.
My brakes were making a weird noise. I finally got them looked at. Lots of various things wrong. Brake pads, calibration, I don't remember what else. The mechanic said it was mostly due to having a 12 year old car and the mileage is really low for the age of my car. Besides the brakes there is some other issues that are minor now and can wait a bit.
Love to all of you Zmayhem.
David & JZ, all my love to both of you. And Matilda and Emmett and fam.
JZ & DavidS,
Sad to read the news in Beep Me, but I'd say protecting the liver and kidneys is a good choice. Rehydrate and recover and build strength. "Something may turn up." Meanwhile, make the most of each and every day.
I love you all so much.
Hec, I don’t even have the words. I hope that without the treatment JZ can enjoy family and food and all good things for as long as possible.
