-t pointed out that today is Pi approximation day, and we have an approximate slice of pie leftover from yesterday to celebrate.
Though mostly this morning I was contemplating the great virtue of room service coffee with buttered toast and jam.
Phil the Gambler is back from Vegas and we might get together later. It is nice when I get to break up these trips with a visit.
I have approximately no pie.

I had a flight of pies last night at an English style pub. Dinner pies, but pies all the same.
I have approximately no pie, but I do have macarons and cookies thanks to the farmers market.
I have zero pie, but Indian food is on the way for dinner.
If anyone has spare health~ma, I'd appreciate you sending it my mom's way. We just found out that her cancer has returned after almost 2 years of no signs of it. Fortunately it sounds as if it remains operable via relatively minor surgery, with what I assume is targeted chemo follow-up this time. Prognosis is good, but it's a hell of a kick in the teeth to have it recur after four all-clear checkups.
