If anyone has spare health~ma, I'd appreciate you sending it my mom's way. We just found out that her cancer has returned after almost 2 years of no signs of it. Fortunately it sounds as if it remains operable via relatively minor surgery, with what I assume is targeted chemo follow-up this time. Prognosis is good, but it's a hell of a kick in the teeth to have it recur after four all-clear checkups.

Hard night here. My friend passed while I was sitting with her. She had moved to hospital hospice late Wednesday night and has stopped verbal communication by Thursday. I’m staying with her husband for the next day and a half.
