Until Tuesdays headlines about Chicago having the worst air quality in the world (among big cities) I hadn't realized why my eyes were a little burny and my voice was low and weak. I just thought I was exhausted. Going outside that day was really awful. It was cool enough to close my windows for Tuesday and Wednesday, but it got too warm on Thursday so I made some improvised filters to tape over the open windows.
She hosted a weeklong writing retreat and held it at a gd plantation. Then lost her shit when people questioned her on it. Probably 10 years ago now?

ION, I accepted an informal job offer yesterday. Should have the formal one Monday. I'm fortunate that the job market is pretty decent for software developers right now despite all the high-profile layoffs.

My aunt is not doing well. She has shown minor improvements but she has also tested positive for C Diff. On top of sepsis amd Covid
I've been pressing mom to take me to with her when she goes to Florida. Whenever that is. She can't go now because my aunt is in isolation. I don't think my aunt is going to make it and I want to be a support for mom since she's had to do so much alone.

I'm so sorry, askye, it's so hard.
My sister got remarried on Thursday, and it was so lovely. The weather warmed up just in time for the evening in the hills: all the jackets went unused and there was a gorgeous sunset. Since then we've had lovely times with family and close friends. It's been really nice, despite the heat.
I got my makeup done professionally for the first time, and it was nice, but I hardly got any photos, and I didn't really learn anything I could do myself. So that was interesting but unrepeatable.
