Lava dick does not sound like a good thing.
Air quality is sucky here in the Adirondacks. Canadian wildfires are causing a haze of nasty. People wearing masks and complaining of sore throats. I went out for a bit and it is kinda gross.

I didn't think the wildfire haze would reach us, but it has, and our air quality suckity sucks. The haze makes the sky look cool at sunrise and sunset, though.

Things are fairly nice here. I have my windows open, a tomato on my plant is starting to ripen, the cats are being cuddlesome. But I'd love a week at a lake, with nothing but books and shoreline rambles on my agenda.

That was absolutely my response as well!
Talked to my mom, ish—she’s half asleep and only giving one or two word answers. Says she’s not in pain just really tired and weak. I called to get hospice started, because two weeks ago she could walk, and now she can’t sit up by herself. I thought it would be more like a couple months, not a couple weeks! (Am still hoping appetite inducer which just got prescribed today will help her eat which will help her not feel so weak??)
