I feel like Force Majeure would have to be a villain?? But totally should be.
i But Major Force sounds so positive and strong!
A villain and a hero—twins, separated at birth, and raised with very different value systems.
Sorry about the card fraud, Steph.
Sorry about the smoke, Laura.
Things are fairly nice here. I have my windows open, a tomato on my plant is starting to ripen, the cats are being cuddlesome. But I'd love a week at a lake, with nothing but books and shoreline rambles on my agenda.

That was absolutely my response as well!
Talked to my mom, ish—she’s half asleep and only giving one or two word answers. Says she’s not in pain just really tired and weak. I called to get hospice started, because two weeks ago she could walk, and now she can’t sit up by herself. I thought it would be more like a couple months, not a couple weeks! (Am still hoping appetite inducer which just got prescribed today will help her eat which will help her not feel so weak??)
meara, I’m so sorry. It’s so difficult.
Oh meara, that is so hard. I'm sorry.
I so sorry, meara.
I have thoughts on alla that up there, but I also have a 6:30p pmeeting. Boo.
Aliens, tho...
Oh meara, I'm sorry to hear it. I've been thinking of you.
I am also thinking of Sue and other actual Canadians, because yikes.
Aw Meara, this is much too fast. Hopefully increasing her appetite will go a long way.
That’s hard, meara. But Hospice people in my experience are wonderful. They did wonders for my mom’s quality of life (which seems odd to say, considering) when her cancer got bad.
