Oh poor Mia. And poor Matilda. I'm glad Matilda's SIM card situation was fixed.
Sending lots of good progress~ma and vibes to JZ this weekend.
I had M's leftover tacos for breakfast and it's delicious.
So our company put out a 20% off clearance online only coupon last week and the first couple of days were 30% off of Home clearance. and orders went crazy, especially for all this Xmas stuff that we were sure got transferred out (the company has made certain stores outlets and transfers clearance out and that's been semi chaotic) and today my team lead moved a stack of broken down boxes and found under it-- boxes of Xmas stuff that had been packed like it was going to be transferred and then (I guess) covered up with the boxes and forgotten. All this stuff we had to cancel the orders for because we couldn't find them. Getting almost all the clearance out has been great but there have been issues. Like this.
They are definitely not the same -- Plaquenil is an anti-rheumatic drug used for malaria, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis; Doxycycline is an antibiotic BUT it's also used for malaria (which I just learned), like Plaquenil, so if you were prescribed the Plaquenil as a preventive for malaria, maybe that's why CVS subbed in the Doxycycline. (If not, then I got nothin'.)
I've been losing my hair, so I went to a dermatologist. She prescribed several drugs (she menitoned that lupus may be a cause of hair loss), and the plaquenil is one of them. I'll go back to CVS tomorrow.
Wait, Vortex, do you mean for once House is wrong and it IS lupus?
I really need a kick in the pants to get stuff done. Or really, a friend to come over and sit while I clean and work. Motivates me like nothing else (and there is a website where you can do that but it’s not the same)
Dear god. I just was reading an article and it said Ron DeSantis is only 44??? He’s younger than me?? I assumed he was like 64. That makes it worse how awful he is!
That makes it worse how awful he is!
Did you read his history as a JAG at Guantanamo? He fucking tortured people. He's thoroughly evil.

Unfortunately, there's a scary sector of US voters who will see that as a plus, rather than a deal-breaker.
Today is the Glorious Twenty-Fifth of May: [link]
I shall have to find some lilac.
Today is also Towel Day: [link]
Do you know where your towel is?
Don't panic.

Yeah, it was a horrifying read... and completely unsurprising that he seemed to enjoy witnessing the torture... and was so cruelly deceitful in his purpose for being there.
I had exactly the same right, Calli. There's a huge segment who would have stood right there with him enjoying the scenes, and they probably regretted they only got to read about it.
More and more, cruelty is the goal, and that's accepted and acceptable. There's no other explanation I can see.
Aw. I do know where my towel is! I don't think I can lay my hands on any lilac easily, maybe next year I can plan ahead.
I am a hoopy frood who had a hard-boiled egg for breakfast.
