Unfortunately, there's a scary sector of US voters who will see that as a plus, rather than a deal-breaker.
Yeah, it was a horrifying read... and completely unsurprising that he seemed to enjoy witnessing the torture... and was so cruelly deceitful in his purpose for being there.
I had exactly the same right, Calli. There's a huge segment who would have stood right there with him enjoying the scenes, and they probably regretted they only got to read about it.
More and more, cruelty is the goal, and that's accepted and acceptable. There's no other explanation I can see.

I got locked out of my yoga class midway through last night; I had to duck out to got to the bathroom. I found it deeply funny. (I'm on a monthly pass, so no refund needed.) Like, how bad is your karma to get locked out of the place where they're constantly trying to help you up your karma game?
