Also, my new keyboard is six stops away!
My old one died Tursday, so weird.
The new one is the same brand/type, but with prettier lights, ha!

I recently dropped my Nook and couldn't get a replacement screen so I purchased a Kindle to give it a try. (I hate it) I will get my Nook fixed, but in the meantime, I have to look at all those Kindle deals since I am pretty unfamiliar with the way that all works. My to-read list is long enough for me to be in a rush though.
I have never bothered to buy dedicated Nook or Kindle hardware. Depending on where I am, I use their apps on my laptop or iPad or mobile phone. Works well for me.

Same.
In the past week my aunt, and last relative of that generation, died and my mom's bestie (and sort of an honorary aunt for me) died. I'm a bit sad. They were both in their 80s, long lives well lived and all that. But still.
I'm sorry, Calli. Yes, it is good to celebrate lives well lived, but it doesn't spare you the grief of loss.

Love to you, Calli. That is hard.
Yeah, one time I agree with Anya. Sometimes mortal bodies suck.
Thanks, y'all. I'm the youngest of my generation in the family by a fair bit. So I don't feel like I'm part of the "wise elders" group. But there's no generation before me holding up that torch, so I guess the subsequent generations are stuck with me and the cousins. I spent far too long this morning debating whether to get a welcome mat that says "Definitely not a trap door," so subsequent generations had best moderate their expectations accordingly.

David, I hope the next trip down goes much smoother.
