I'm sorry, Pix.

{{Pix}}} That is a lot of loss in a short period of time. Love to you and your family.

Oh wow Pix, two aunts in such close succession is so hard. I’m so sorry.
Aw Kristin, I’m so sorry. My grandmother and her sister died 19 hours apart. We were literally leaving for one funeral when we got the news that the other had died. The extended family swiftly split into two groups and went in two different directions.
It was an emotional whirl of the worst possible kind and I’m so sorry you’re going through something similar. Grief is bad enough without chaos.

Thanks so much, Trudy, and everyone else. It's definitely been an emotional whirlwind. And this may sound dumb, but I hate that I have to go out to stock up on all the sympathy cards I need to cover both sides of the family. And my dad was super stoic and "we don't talk about it" when I tried to talk to him earlier (no surprise to anyone), which makes me worry more. At least when my mom mourns, we can talk about it and I know when she's getting depressed. Dad is just a completely closed book.

Yes, she was. Well said. Thank you.
ETA: Did I mention I got a jury summons today? Because that also happened.
I’m so sorry Pix.
I think I got called off more often than not when I got a Jury summons in SoCal. Here's hoping you're in the "released" group, Pix
