Our wings are not tired.

Matt and I have the same palate. Finest wine or boxed wine, either is equally tasty. I've only had a very few sips of whiskey in my life so I would have no way of knowing if it was a good one.

In it doesn't take much to amuse me news, I'm working on cleaning up data for one of my doctors and the patient's name is Jesus, which isn't unusual. Then I notice the birthdate is 12/25/2018. I see what you did there, parents.

Ok that’s funny, Laura. I wonder how funny the kid will think it is in a few years but…I’m smiling now!

How are you functioning after the sleep deprivation, meara?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And I'm sure peri-menopause isn't helping.

She is such a bitch.

Ugh why am I awake at 330am? I’ve been awake for close to two hours. I have to get up at 6. I will probably fall back asleep at like 5 and be zonked.

Sister in unsleep. I went to bed at 9, read for maybe an hour or a bit more and thought I'd drift right off. Instead insomnia decided to fuck right off and I finally got to sleep a little after 6. So zonked. A scattered three-ish hours of sleep does not a happy Cass make. It wasn't even brain squirrels. My body just refused to sleep.

I'm mostly doing OK, other than keeping wondering why it feels so late all day (because I have been awake forever and started work at 6:30AM?) But I plan to go to bed early tonight.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Could your brother recommend a good faux gin, Teppy? I do miss my martinis.

I genuinely love everything this place makes: [link]

I'll note that I drink the hard stuff, too, so that's my baseline comparison. The Bittersweet is my favorite Dhos, but the Gin Free also rocks.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

{{{Aimee}}} Peri-menopause is indeed no fun. I've been dealing with it, which has not helped my mood when dealing with Mr. S.(also not helping with my sleep, as I wake up every day before the alarm)

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Peri-menopause is indeed no fun.

This supplement has helped me a LOT with hot flashes: [link] It took about 6-8 weeks to really notice an effect, but since then it's been great. (I honestly can't assess whether it's helped with other perimenopausal symptoms like stress and energy level because of the stupid Long Covid, which is chock full of stress and fatigue. No hot flashes, though!)

Relink? Is broken.

My hot flashes and bonus night sweats are getting to be a little too much to tolerate. I've tried to ride it out but I started perimenopause in February of 2010. Thirteen years is too long for this.
