Is chemo-ma a thing? If so, I waft it towards the Zmayhem family.
Sheryl, I hope you can soon get some help. This seems really difficult.
As for me, either my allergies have really taken off, or I have a cold. Or maybe covid (although this morning's test was negative). I hope it's just a cold...
I've been skimming and skipping in lurker mode.
I am sorry for all those who are having bad times. JZ, I wish there were something I could do ... for all who are having a bad time. I'm muddling along as usual - working, trying to get healthier. Trying to keep warm.
For fans of guinea pigs, here's one getting a truly royal treatment.
No school for ltc today. There isn’t that much snow. So, I’m kind of surprised.
Does ltc consider snow days a burden or a blessing? Where my family lives it is the transportation division that makes the call. If the buses can't get to the kids there is no school.
We had a small but nice gathering for my son's birthday last night. We played a game his girlfriend brought with her, Joking Hazard. It kept us laughing, and I won! I don't have a competitive streak, so I generally don't win at any games, but it wasn't that kind of competition.
It’s hit or miss with ltc. I thought she was going to be super upset about missing gym today, but she seemed happy enough. TCG is only working a half day. So, he’ll come entertain her soon.
Portacath insertion at 1 today. I’ve never had twilight anesthesia and I’m trying to keep myself from getting too anxious about it (not fully succeeding).
Sheryl, I am so sorry. I can’t imagine how bone-deep draining it has to be for all three of you to live like that.
twilight anesthesia
It worked really well for me. I was impressed.
Good luck, JZ. I'm pretty sure they called it twilight when I got my wisdom teeth out a hundred years ago, but what I got was nitrous, so I said (or at least thought!) some pretty embarrassing things about the good-looking dentist and then basically passed out.
Best of luck, JZ. If you sparkle in the sunlight after the twilight anesthesia, I want pictures.
Sheryl, I hope you and Gary can get Mr. S. the help he needs and get yourselves the respite you need.
