Portacath insertion at 1 today. I’ve never had twilight anesthesia and I’m trying to keep myself from getting too anxious about it (not fully succeeding).
Sheryl, I am so sorry. I can’t imagine how bone-deep draining it has to be for all three of you to live like that.
twilight anesthesia
It worked really well for me. I was impressed.
Good luck, JZ. I'm pretty sure they called it twilight when I got my wisdom teeth out a hundred years ago, but what I got was nitrous, so I said (or at least thought!) some pretty embarrassing things about the good-looking dentist and then basically passed out.
Best of luck, JZ. If you sparkle in the sunlight after the twilight anesthesia, I want pictures.
Sheryl, I hope you and Gary can get Mr. S. the help he needs and get yourselves the respite you need.
All the calming thoughts, JZ.
TCG is home from work. He made us pannetone French toast for lunch, and now he’s taking ltc to the library. Meanwhile I’m going to take a nap because I have a headache hangover.
Good luck, JZ! I love all the anesthesias I’ve had so I hope you enjoy the twilight sleep.
All good vibes for the procedure, JZ. I know it's different for everyone, and I wish you the easiest of anesthesia experiences. Anecdotally, my own experiences have been like lisah's, so I'm sending you more of those vibes.
Sheryl, have been thinking of you and your family a lot and hoping for relief.
Cindy - great to see your pixels, too, friend.
Susan, so glad your recovery is going well.
Laura -- how awesome to be with your eldest in his bday!
I've missed some stuff, but a general howdy-do and all good wishes for all.
Oh, I know what I forget -- panettone French toast??!?? Holy yum. (Rest well, sj)!
Lots of good vibes for the portacath.
