Hec and JZ, I'm sorry for the opioid difficulties. I hope you get the medication without further fuckery.
But I can't just trust that's going to happen now because literally every time I've tried to pick up any opiate there are nine extra unanticipated hoops to jump through, multiple trips back to the pharmacy to pick up one order and nervous nurses and pharmacists who are being blamed for the opioid crisis, and the Sacklers are somehow roaming around free.
Every damned time my mother got opioids, or changed opioids, or got more opioids, we went through this too. The last time, I broke into tears and said not at all quietly (I didn't yell, but no hushed tones), "This is an 86 year-old woman with two broken vertebrae and she is in agony. I'm not leaving without the meds," then I sat down in a chair in front of the pharmacy, and stared at them.
The number of cleaners was not in the contract I signed. No number is mentioned at all. It was simply part of the discussion when had when getting my original quote.
That's all right, sj. You can still cite it. I'm sorry this happened to you. I think Cass is exactly right about all of this. They did an unsatisfactory job. They now claim that's because the session wasn't long enough, but they sent half as many people as they told you they would when they gave you the quote.
Yeah, you didn't hire them to half-clean your house. They need to make it right by either finishing the job or giving you money back.
Okay. This is the last fucking straw. We just went to put ltc to bed and her clean sheets we left folded and clean for them to put on the bed was damp with some sort of nasty cleaning fluid the kind they agreed not to use in this house at all because of our asthma. I am now livid.
Oh, hell no. Full refund.
I have sent off an additional email to my contact person. I wish I had my mothers talent for dealing with shit like this.
I’m sorry you have to do this, sj, but you are in the right. Hang in there.
