Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

This recipe replaces the noodles with sliced lunch meat instead of something like zucchini

I feel like this *might* work (taste-wise) with sliced gyro meat. Now that I think about it, I *really* want to try that.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

This recipe replaces the noodles with sliced lunch meat

I'm making a confused face.

Any time I look at a diet like that, or the low tyramine diet my neuro suggested, I want to cry. Give up all aged cheeses?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Give up all aged cheeses?

Tragic.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Give up all aged cheeses?

Oh, that would be hard.

Now that I think about it, I *really* want to try that.

YMMV, but my body is not a fan of that much meat, cheese, and sodium with, like, zero fiber. If I have to eat leftovers, I'm going to pair it with a giant salad.

(Edit: did I forget to mention that there was ground beef in the meat sauce in addition to the sliced lunch meat "noodles"?)

I'd eat a serving of it for dinner, but with a salad, like you said, or some other veggie. But I couldn't eat like that all the time. Mostly because I need variety, but also because, yeah, fiber. Also I just really like roasted broccoli and would not be willing to give it up.

Sliced lunch meat noodles are cracking me up. I mean, I'd eat them. It still makes me laugh.

sliced lunch meat "noodles"

That's not as bad as what I was imagining. So I guess I *did* want to know. Thanks! It still seems like a) not really lasagna, b) a bit over salty, and c) not quite what I'd be looking for in texture. But I guess if you really want something lasagna-esque, you do what you have to do.

I feel like this *might* work (taste-wise) with sliced gyro meat.

What's that Greek dish with the sliced eggplant? Thinly sliced gyro meat might be a good eggplant substitute in that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What's that Greek dish with the sliced eggplant?

Moussaka.

I just had tuna on top of cauliflower thins (in lieu of bread) and that works fine.

Also, I get Ozery little sandwich bread things (like very skinny English muffins) and toast them and those serve a lot of my low-carb eating needs.

I'm having trouble imagining the sliced meat noodle lasagna. Hm. I feel like I would not be able to cut through it with a fork like I expect lasagna to work? Maybe I'm imagining the lunch meat wrong. Meat and cheese and tomato sauce and more meat does not exactly sound bad, though.
