I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Looks like turnout for my county was 28% which does seem pretty dismal but might actually be higher than usual.

That library thing is appalling, Matt!

Ugh, Matt, that's awful. We hear a lot (as well we should) about school libraries being targets for book challenges/bans and harassment, but a lot of public libraries are having to deal with this shit too.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh Matt, that is awful. At least my county always does well on funding schools, arts, libraries, and such.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Matt, you were with me the entire time. We had a great day at MoPOP (we went to this, it was amazing) and a well bundled-up walk along the waterfront.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ugh, Matt, how infuriating and vindictive and petty and spiteful and you were definitely visiting us here all along.

Turnout in SF is currently around 31%, but they're nowhere near done tallying up all the mail-in ballots, so it should go up quite a bit. It damn well better, because that's embarrassing.

Alaska uses ranked choice, right? Do we care whether it's Tshibaka or Murkowski? I think I do, but not as much as I care about Georgia and Arizona and Nevada.

Sorry to people who are trying to not think about this stuff

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

My district was 54.9%, but a lot of Brooklyn was well over 60%.

I"m shopping online for groceries for the potluck (to pick up Friday, none of it is very perishable) and I forgot the Peeps! So I searched for them to see if I can add to my order after I checked out and it's showing me peeled shrimp, which also seems hilarious to me. I guess I will have to look elsewhere for Peeps.

Okay y'all, I have an etiquette question. I need to write thank-you notes to two parent volunteers who ran a fundraiser for my library. I know generally what I want to say, but do I need to make the messages noticeably different from each other? I don't really know either of them and so it's hard to personalize the notes in any meaningful way. I just don't want them to feel like it's a boilerplate message.
