The fact that Warnock and Walker race is close is disturbing.
On the other hand Kentucky voted against the proposed anti abortion Constitutional Amendment was defeated.
Welcome home Daniel!!

Welcome home Daniel!!
All the other statewide candidates I voted for lost in a sea of red. Sucks. But all the local candidates and issues I voted for won, which makes me feel like Cincinnati is getting more blue.
Same here. I calculated I prevailed on 62% of my votes (29 of them total), but the big ones, including all our horrible supreme court justices all went the wrong way.
I hope Trump and DeSantis eat each other alive.
Mm hmm.
Oh no, meara! Hope the hard reboot or whatever works!
I prevailed in 13% of my votes. All candidates lost, but 3 ballot measures went the way I voted.
I'm loudly horrified at local turnout. 37% in my county?!? Washington has universal postal voting! Everyone has time to do research and then mail their ballot! Postage is paid for! My foremothers who couldn't exercise the franchise would put their bones back together and come haunting me if I didn't vote.
meara, I hope it works - our heat pump is getting mended Thursday (it's not worked since midsummer, so we didn't have air conditioning, either) and we've been all right, but I don't want to go without for too much longer.
And welcome home, Daniel!
I can see the temptation of not voting in my county if it weren't for ballot measures. I knew going in that the Republican would win in every case.
I still vote just to be the opposition voice when I know I'm outnumbered. If nothing else, it may help my preferred candidates with fundraising in the future.
All my candidates lost, but at least the four statewide ballot measures I voted against were rejected. Unfortunately, the local ballot measure to cut the public library's funding in half passed—something proposed as a vindictive response to the library not canceling their Pride display last year. So if an involved state level politician or certain Bible thumpers should happen to go missing, I was visiting one of y'all and my whereabouts were accounted for, okay?
Registered voters in my county: 174,769
Turnout was 50.34%.
