Oh, good ending on that one, Brenda.
Day went/is going swimmingly.
I did find some more pep, too.

Did you swing by Pep Boys? Or was it more of a Dr. Pepper thing?
Whew! Pep stores now exhausted. Super fun day and evening, though. That worked out!

Pepto-Bismol. It's all I had handy.

It's the duct tape of medicines! It can do it all.
Truth.
Quiet today.
Went to the DC Pen Show this morning. So huge, so many pens... so many gorgeous, spendy pens!
I bought a journal with lovely paper. Now I need to find my fountain pen, which is a work-a-day pen, so I don't know why I never use it.
Glad I reconnected with my friend at her b-day party yesterday. That was good. We are making plans to catch up one-on-one soon.
Lovely visit with my niece and her fiance. They are pretty darned darling together. Had a couple of my friends over, ordered Thai, and chatted the night away. Really pleasant. I am freaking lucky in the friends and family department.
That 100% includes glowy box friends, of course.
How are your weekends wrapping up?
Timelies all!
Mr. S had another meltdown yesterday as we were leaving dinner for the concert. Lots of spitting and hair pulling. We had to pull over twice to try to get him to calm down. Also had to find a Target to buy some clothes as he didn't make it to the bathroom on time. Got to the venue and had to park in Outer Mongolia. Concert had started by the time we got in, and Gary ended up walking around with Mr. S for most of the show.
Also, I tripped on the sidewalk and scraped up my knee quite a bit. Not the best nights.
Quiet today.
I'm working from a hotel in Minneapolis today. Have two nights over overnight install out here. Was supposed to start last night but they cancelled the work due to weather, so night I have to get the work done before my 6:30am flight on Tuesday morning. Was really trying to avoid working all night and then heading directly to the airport. Alas, sometimes it happens.
I took Friday off to use up some vacation (expires at the end of this month) so I've had a leisurely 3-day weekend, mostly reading. It is far too warm to tackle any of the home projects on my list. And yet, the cats still want lap time. There were some sprinkles earlier but I think that just increased the humidity.
edit: I just checked the temp and it has cooled off outside. It's 81° out there, but it's still 84° in my apartment.
Well, that's no fun, ND. If it helps, I, too have to work tonight, but it's not the fault of the weather or the client. This one's on me. (I know... it doesn't actually help.)
But fun weekend, so it was worth it.
I'm sorry it was not a good night, Sheryl.
Thumbs-up for three day weekends, aurelia. I'm a fan
OK, here I go... working.
